The reasons for this photo? As I mentioned in this post about good luck bald eagles, we have only this one moment in life. We have just this one moment in life. How many times have we all heard that? Me? Maybe a zillion times? It has only truly begun to sink in as I have been getting older. We get it, and then we really GET it.
Bald eagles make me happy. They take my breath away. Truly good things happen to me whenever I am in their presence. So why would I drive by? We don’t always need to strive for award winning photographs. We need to strive for happiness, joy, and the fullest of all the emotions and experience of life in this one moment.
Even if it is just me, me, me, I, I, I, and two bald eagles on the side of the highway … the moment, is all that matters.
