Good morning,
I thought I would give you an update as to where things are at, at this point in time in my healing, recovery and treatment plan for breast cancer.
Right now, as I write, I am sitting at home in Fanny Bay. Fortunately where I am, Vancouver Island has beautiful sunny and warmish weather to enjoy at the moment, unlike some other places in the country.
I am happy about the great weather as it makes it easier for me to stay somewhat upbeat during these tough times. This isn’t an easy road. I try to post mostly positive updates, because who really really wants to read the awful stuff? Not me. However, sprinkling in a little bit of the reality of what it is like to go through this, might be helpful for some.
I have had three chemotherapy treatments now, and I only have one more to go! A total of four only, which is why I said YES to chemotherapy. Four? I can do that! I thought. And I am. Is it FUN? No. Is it easy? No. Is it hard and lonely at times? Yes.
