Good morning. Here’s an update on upcoming breast cancer follow-up stuff:
In just over a couple of weeks, April 30th, I will be back at the BC Cancer Agency in Victoria for a follow up with my medical oncologist. I am hoping that she gives me good news and so I don’t have to go back for a long long time afterwards.
I have a one night complimentary stay left over which was not used in past, at Accent Inns, so I will be using that for one night, and will take fundraising dollars to pay for one additional night stay as well. Thank YOU for fundraising dollars. You know who you are, and you are kind-hearted and loving people.
So I will be in Victoria Thursday April 30th, Friday May 1st, and leaving Saturday May 2nd.
I am going to drop Teddy (my standard poodle) off on my way there, at Cedar Ridge Complete Canine in Duncan, for one full day doggie daycare while I am at the Cancer Agency. It may be too warm by then to leave him in the car in the parking lot anyway, plus, he can have a play date with other dogs for one day. The small boarding/daycare fee takes some stress off of me for that busy day also. It gives me peace of mind, knowing he is in a safely fenced area, in good and loving hands, having FUN. Teddy’s stay is made possible also through fundraising dollars. Thank YOU for fundraising dollars. You know who you are, and you are kind-hearted and loving people.
I am thinking out loud here, wishing I had even one more night at Accent Inns, as it would give me a chance to have even more time to look around at areas for possible housing/rentals. I need to find a place to live.
I am wishing that all might be settled in the Universe for me, so that I could move into my own place for June 1st. That would be ideal. I am working to try to make that happen some how, some way. Fingers crossed.
And also exciting, is that I will make a visit at some point on this upcoming trip to see Cathy O’Connor’s new Windrush art gallery in the makings, in Metchosin. My art work will be part of the grand opening!
Love,
Brenda
