On a positive note, I GOT A NEW DOCTOR today !!!!!
Someone who is nice, loving, smiles a lot, who came across as she really genuinely cares about me. She is AWESOME.
I had a good doctor before, but he took off and left all his patients, and went to some tiny community up North. Smart and healthy guy. Ha. Ha.
Anyway, I didn’t get to “choose” his replacement and I never felt supported by her, and I actually thought she didn’t even like me. Not what you want in a doctor. I have wanted a new doctor for a long time, but it’s not easy to get a new doctor where I live.
Anyway, today, in the same office, there was a fairly new’ish doctor. Mine was out of town (again) so I booked an appointment with the other doctor, hoping I could secretly switch.
She said YES! No problem. I cried through my entire appointment. LOL.
Anyway, I am SUPER HAPPY. I feel like now I really have a General Physician who is on my side, ready to travel this cancer journey with me, in full support of me.
I am RELIEVED and HAPPY. It just goes to show how important individual energies are, and having the right person, and personality to work with you.
