As a brand new podcaster, this fun audio experiment, The Brenda Johima Show, gives me as an artist, a perfect platform to use the power of my voice for GOOD.
Bringing in voice alongside my other creative endeavours like art, painting, writing and especially my love of photography, is a JOY and a natural progression. No longer performing as a singer, I have missed being on microphone. A podcast is a perfect alternative and I look forward to getting creative, as I learn the medium of podcasting more.
In Episode 2 I speak about COURAGE and briefly touch on post-concussion syndrome, which now would have been labeled as mild-traumatic brain injury; the challenge that has affected every one of my days since a car accident on June 28, 2000.
On that day I was on the way to the bank with a cheque from an investor, to launch a singing career. True Fact. It has been a long haul of recovery.
Now, 19 years later, I am back to INSPIRE with my speaking voice and with spoken word. I could not be happier.
Start somewhere, just start. Perfect or not, start.
Thanks for listening!
