I’ve been craving healthy food, pretty much daily, and going with it. Eating healthy and taking off a few pounds helps to make sure the cancer never comes back.
But hey, I’m not perfect. I was craving some junk food (I thought) … you know, chips, candies, chocolate, baked goods.
So after my afternoon walk I stocked up on a few things that I’ve no longer been eating.
I was eager to get home and go on a small binge.
After a few bites, yukk, I put it in the cupboard.
Later this evening, I tried again, to eat some yummy junk. Ha. (I thought)
Yukk. But I ate some stuff anyway.
I went to bed early, feeling angry, with heart racing and head feeling weird, and my body began itching everywhere, all over.
I took a Benedryl.
And that’s it! End of story.
Those crappy food days are over forever, even as little “snacks” as we call them.
I went in the kitchen and peeled a pomegranate and breathed a sigh of relief as I ate my yummy healthy snack. Ahhhhhh, familiar healthy food
